Skifteretten i Odense har d. 18.10.2002 taget Plus Forsikring A/S under
konkursbehandling.
Konkursen er afsagt, efter at finanstilsynet har konstateret, at
Plus Forsikring A/S er insolvent.
Finanstilsynet har herefter indgivet konkursbegæring. Både selskabets
ledelse og revisionen er enig i, at selskabet er insolvent.
Plus Forsikring A/S har i de senere dage forhandlet med andre
forsikringsselskaber for at søge forsikringsbestanden overdraget til
andet forsikringsselskab for derved at opnå sikkerhed for, at alle
erstatningskrav dækkes af det eller de overtagende selskaber.
Intet andet forsikringsselskab har villet overtage forsikringsbestanden
eller på anden måde garantere for Plus Forsikring A/S'
forsikringsforpligtelser.
Finanstilsynet har orienteret forsikringsselskabernes brancheforening
(Forsikring & Pension, Amaliegade 10, 1045 København K). Forsikring &
Pension tager så hurtigt som muligt stilling til, hvorledes der kan
spændes et sikkerhedsnet ud for såvel skader, der er indtruffet, som
skader der indtræffer inden 1. december 2002.
Advarsel til forsikringstagere i Plus Forsikring A/S
Plus Forsikring A/S er ikke i stand til at
betale erstatning på tegnede forsikringer.
Finanstilsynet skal kraftigt opfordre til, at alle forsikringstagere i
Plus Forsikring A/S hurtigst muligt tegner nye forsikringer hos andre
forsikringsselskaber. Dette gælder selv om branchen etablerer et
sikkerhedsnet for de erstatningsberettigede og forsikringstagerne. Det
skal understreges, at det bl.a. er pligtigt at tegne forsikringer på
følgende områder:
- Ansvarsforsikringer for biler og andre køretøjer.
- Brandforsikring (hvis lån i ejendommen).
- Hundeansvarsforsikring.
Det er samtidigt vigtigt at gøre opmærksom på, at også andre
forsikringer er meget vigtige at få nytegnet, hvis den hidtidige
forsikringsdækning skal opretholdes.
